OUR FAMILY STORY
Jace moved from Nevada to Florida with a simple goal-to build something meaningful for fellow veterans, a sense of community through connection. He wanted his first event to feel different… more personal, more memorable. That’s when he found Daisy.
Daisy had made her own leap years before, emigrating from England and Wales with a love for food, wine, and the kind of hospitality that turns strangers into friends. To her, wine was never just a drink-it was a way to gather, to slow down, to truly connect.
When Jace booked Daisy for a Veteran Networking Event, something clicked. What began as a shared vision quickly became something more.
Between building a business from the ground up and welcoming their new baby-spending five unforgettable weeks in the NICU-they held onto what mattered most: love, connection, community, and showing up for one another. Through it all, Daisy balanced caring for their newborn while spending a month at HCA North Florida, nurturing both her family (Pictured here are all the children) and their growing dream. Raise Your Glass had only been open just over a week when the baby decided to arrive prematurely!
What they’ve built isn’t just a business-it’s their story. Rooted in love, resilience, and the belief that food, wine, and good company can turn moments into lasting memories.

Jace, a US Navy veteran, provides networking events for fellow veterans, especially small business owners. Daisy empowers women recovering from divorce or separation, guiding them to overcome Financial and Judicial abuse and start businesses. They both are avid supporters of youth soccer in Gainesville through events and offering scholarships. They also host “Pets on the Patio” and support the local animal charities and other worthy causes!
